"The first full length debut by pagan drone choir NYX suggest the group has a long career ahead of them and is the best release of 2025 so far. Every track is so gorgeous it's hard to pick a favorite track. The album art and art for the 3 lead up singles are all perfect.

"Daughters" could be a Godspeed You Black Emperor! track & feels like a natural rebirth of post rock, yet as a choral vocal project it is unlikely NYX will fall into the "crescendo rock" trap that so many post rock bands died in.

This album begs repeat listening & will I can't wait for what's next!
