Double LP compilation from this great R&B artist, with liner notes on the back cover by Terry Pattison (editor of Living Blues Magazine). These LPs contain 24 songs. James "Sugar Boy" Crawford was a New Orleans artist most famous for writing IKO IKO but his legendary Rhtyhm and Blues status goes much beyond that. He was a master of the B-Flat ballad, and most of the selections on this album were recorded in 1954.
